Position Overview

iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a Telecommunications Technician for our client, a leading government contractor. This role focuses on analyzing complex LAN/WAN systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, and configuring operating systems and protocol suites for virtualized and containerized systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex interoperability issues across host, hypervisor, and guest nodes
• Configure cloud servers and network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, white box)
• Support hardware/software acquisition and subcontractor services
• Provide technical leadership to junior team members
• Conduct integration and system testing

Location

• 100% onsite position

Required Qualifications

Security Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance

Education & Technical Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Cisco/Juniper networking equipment
  • VMWare, QEMU, KVM, or Docker
  • Linux or OpenStack
• Knowledge of:
  • Telephony and telecommunications
  • Networking services
  • Software defined networking

Preferred Certifications

• RHCSA
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent
