Job Description

Job Title: Store Manager (Full-Time – 40 hrs/week)

Location:  St. Louis, MO 63108 (In-Person)

Pay:  $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected Hours:  40 per week

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced  Store Manager  to oversee the daily operations of our small convenience store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring  exceptional customer service , managing staff, handling inventory, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient store. This role requires  strong leadership skills, patience, and excellent communication abilities , with a primary focus on  customer satisfaction  and  team management .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead store employees , providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Oversee  inventory control , including stock management and timely replenishment.
  • Manage  cash register operations using  CRE (Cash Register Express)and ensure accurate transactions.
  • Create and manage  employee schedules , ensuring adequate store coverage.
  • Maintain a  clean and organized store environment , including trash disposal and overall hygiene.
  • Implement and follow  store closing procedures for smooth daily operations.
  • Handle  customer interactions professionally , ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Address and resolve  customer concerns with patience and a soft-spoken approach.
  • Ensure  compliance with company policies and promote a  safe working environment .
  • Drive sales by implementing effective merchandising and promotional strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prior experience in retail/store management is preferred.
  • Strong skills in customer service , inventory control, and team leadership.
  • Familiarity with  cash register systems (CRE or similar POS systems) .
  • Soft-spoken, patient, and energetic personality —a must for handling customer interactions.
  • Ability to  multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent  interpersonal and communication skills for training and managing staff.
  • Must be  dependable, proactive, and capable of problem-solving on the go .

Shift & Work Requirements:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Ability to commute and be on time.
