Pulmonary Clinic

The faculty and staff in the Pulmonary practice treat a wide range of pulmonary and respiratory conditions, specializing in obstructive lung disease, myositis, nontuberculous mycobacteria and bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, and sleep disorders.

Schedule: 5 Hour Day Shift | 4 Days Per Week | No Weekends | No Holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person and telephonic triage to support timely clinical decision-making and reduce provider workload
• Assist with medication refills by pending orders or approving when a Non-Individual Prescriber Order (NIPO) exists
• Facilitate prior authorizations for medications, durable medical equipment (DME), and other necessary services
• Communicate test results to patients with written instructions provided by the provider
• Coordinate and process referral requests to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, testing, and wellness strategies
• Support comprehensive care coordination among multiple providers and services
• Provide airway clearance teaching, device troubleshooting, and coordination of DME procurement

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland or Compact RN license
• CPR certification - AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
• Associate degree in nursing required, BSN preferred, BSN to be completed within four years
• 1 to 2 years RN experience required but will train to the specialty!

Salary Range: Minimum 38.49/hour - Maximum 59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
