Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee the implementation of the compliance program, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and regulations.
Lead compliance training and education initiatives across the organization, ensuring all employees are aware of compliance standards and policies.
Monitor and report on compliance risks and issues, working closely with other departments to mitigate potential compliance-related concerns.
Stay current on regulatory changes impacting the business and ensure timely updates to compliance policies and procedures.
Coordinate internal and external audits and work with auditors to ensure compliance objectives are met.
Foster strong relationships with regulatory agencies and facilitate effective communication regarding compliance matters.
Drive the culture of compliance throughout the organization by actively promoting ethical behavior and compliance best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the financial services or fintech sector.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and foster relationships with regulators.
Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
