Turn Your Passion into a Career – Join Cartronics as a 12-Volt Technician! We are looking for a skilled and motivated Car Audio & 12V Automotive Technician to join our team at Cartronics. In this role, you’ll be responsible for professionally installing, troubleshooting, and integrating aftermarket audio systems, remote starters, lighting, safety equipment, and other 12-volt accessories into a wide range of vehicles. We offer competitive pay starting at $40/billed hour with the opportunity to earn up to $55/billed hour with tenure and high productivity. We also guarantee at least $20/hr pay for those of you who may still need training. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with vehicle disassembly, wiring, and electronic integration—or a strong willingness to learn. Attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a passion for cars and technology are essential. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality and customer satisfaction come first. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Install car audio systems, speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers • Wire and install remote start systems, alarms, and backup cameras • Upgrade vehicle lighting, dash cams, radar detectors, and other 12V accessories • Troubleshoot wiring and electrical systems • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and deliver high-quality workmanship Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • Experience in car audio or 12-volt installations (preferred) • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things and push yourself to get better each and every day • Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring • Ability to use power tools and diagnostic equipment • A team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic Bonus Points For: • MECP certification or formal training • Fabrication skills (dash kits, amp racks, etc.) • CAD experience • Experience with marine, motorcycle, or powersports audio Don't live in middle TN?
