**General Summary:**
Work as part of a large test and engineering systems organization which handles test automation infrastructure, test strategy, test plan development and execution & report management in Power and thermal SW feature
· Manual and Automated Execution of functional/features tests for power/thermal SW and power/ thermal characterization/optimization on all Qualcomm chipset for various HLOS and non-HLOS Subsystems (Android, Windows etc.).
· Actively interact and work closely with Power/thermal SW teams, Chipset thermal/power team, Target Power team, automation framework developers & other test engineers in team environment.
· Role will include daily collaboration with other test engineers in power ecosystem as well as product engineers.
· May need to use power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platform Minimum Qualifications
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of testing, measurement, or related work experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Preferred Qualifications
· 5+ years Systems Test Engineering or related work experience
· Experience in software testing and debugging · Knowledge of SW product cycle
· Experience in any operating systems platform testing (Google Android, Windows phone etc)
· Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills · High level organization and results documentation
· Passion for learning and intellectual curiosity
· Communication and ability to partner with others · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated.
· Thermal/Power related sw test experience on any platform is a plus
· Set up and maintenance of device test farm is a plus · Experience in multi-media technologies (Audio, Video, Camera & etc.) is a plus · Knowledge/experience of embedded systems is a plus
· Development skills in Python, C/C++ is a plus
· Must be a good team player and have strong analytical skills. Previous testing experience on QCOM platform will be given a preference.

**Pay range** **and Other Compensation & Benefits** **:**
$27.62 - $41.42
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
