Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Remote School Sign Language Interpreter to support students in New Hampshire by providing virtual interpretation services. As a key member of our team, you'll help bridge communication gaps between deaf or hard-of-hearing students, their teachers, and peers in an online learning environment, ensuring an inclusive educational experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clear and accurate sign language interpretation during virtual classes, activities, and school events.
Foster effective communication between students, teachers, and school staff.
Support the creation of an inclusive and accessible learning environment for students with hearing impairments.
Collaborate closely with educators and staff to meet the diverse educational needs of students.

Qualifications:

Certification in American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation (EIPA score of 3.5 or higher, or equivalent licensure).
Prior experience working with students, preferably in an educational setting.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a virtual environment.
