Senior Fund Accountant – Pasadena, CA (onsite)

Essential Functions

· Investment company functions:

o Maintain books and records for partnership books. Responsibilities include:

· Record operating and investment activities in partnership books

· Record bank activities in general ledger and reconcile bank accounts monthly

· Reconciles balance sheet & income statement accounts monthly

· Assist, facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, including the monthly closing of intercompany accounts and the consolidation of selected companies

· Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

· Prepare monthly lender compliance reports.

· Prepare document support to external auditors and tax preparers

· Assist with financial and tax audits.

· Perform other related duties, as assigned.

o Prepare regulatory filings and related compliance reporting

· Provide financials and tax packages to tax CPA

· Prepare Information Reporting (Form 1099, state nonresident withholding, Statement of Information)

· Prepare other tax compliance (e.g., business tax, franchise tax, annual registration fees)

Professional Skills Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree required, Accounting or Finance

· Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. Big 4 or r elevant real estate fund or private equity experience is a plus.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Experience working with complex accounting software – eFront (preferred)

· Excellent quantitative/analytical and verbal/written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

· Ability to manage multiple priorities

· Ability to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment
