Senior Fund Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the firm’s U.S., U.K., and European investment platform.
• Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s investment portfolio and capital structure.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and updates to accounting policies and procedures.
• Review and analyze financial reporting from both internal and external sources.
• Support consolidation processes for all entities within the investment platform.
• Maintain detailed reconciliations of intercompany transactions, including relationships with entities across the broader investment portfolio.
• Prepare and maintain investment portfolio reconciliations.
• Support audit and tax compliance processes by providing timely and accurate information.
• Prepare reconciled accounts for corporate subsidiaries on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Compile and review financial information for internal and external stakeholders under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other reporting frameworks.
• Conduct variance analyses on financial statements.
• Prepare cash, debt, and investment reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvements and development of best practices within the finance team.
• Participate in technical accounting projects, including adoption of new accounting standards.
• Assist in the investment funding process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively to move projects forward.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
