Job Description

In today’s high-stakes marketplace, it’s not enough to guess what the audience is thinking. Marketers and business leaders have to know. Acronym’s mission is to build campaigns on more reliable data so that our clients can make more confident choices. Founded in 1994 and proudly independent, Acronym aligns strategic analysis, digital marketing, and multi-channel media expertise to drive transformative growth for major domestic and international brands. Our employees offer deep category experience in a range of fast-growing fields: finance, software, ecommerce, hospitality, and more. We were doing search marketing before Google existed, and today Fortune 500 companies trust us to help them adapt to new challenges and achieve exponential growth. Our outcomes are guided by human expertise, powered by next-level technology, and focused on meaningful success metrics at all stages of the consumer journey.

Acronym is seeking a Senior CRO Engineer, Contractor to join our Analytics & Optimization team. This person will be a technical lead for both Analytics and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) working with our team and our clients to help them implement and maintain conversion rate optimization programs.

  • Developing user experiences for A/B/n, multivariate, and personalization programs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Providing data quality checks and sign offs during the deployment process, working closely with our Client’s QA stakeholders to implement any fixes.
  • Collaborating internally to ensure that deliverable schedules are met, and clear expectations are set with client stakeholders.
  • Providing testing, optimization, and personalization strategy and having a deep understanding of the core principles of testing.

This is you…

  • Has 5+ years of experience with testing & personalization tools, such as but not limited to: Adobe Target (preferred), Optimizely, and Interaction Studio. Adobe Target Business Practitioner or Architect certifications are highly desired.
  • Has 3+ years of professional experience with front-end development, using the latest standards of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with single-page application (SPAs) frameworks, such as React, Vue, and Angular are not required but you must have a general understanding on how they work.
  • Understands how to write code that is cross-browser compatible with the most popular browsers, and how to best test this code.
  • Has an eye for quality control and is detail oriented.
  • Is a problem solver; has analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
  • Has a strong desire to learn new skills and keep up with the latest industry trends.
  • Previous media agency experience or has worked in an environment similar to an agency where you are reporting to multiple stakeholders on a regular basis.
