Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage SEM campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Conduct keyword research, A/B testing, and trend analysis to optimize campaign performance.
Monitor key performance metrics (budget pacing, impression share, conversions, and ROI) and make data-driven adjustments.
Analyze advertising data to provide detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
Stay up-to-date on SEM trends, new technologies, and industry advancements to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with account management, SEO, social media, and creative teams to develop cohesive digital marketing strategies.
Educate clients and team members on SEM best practices and campaign performance insights.
Recommend strategic budget increases based on campaign success and business objectives.
Commit to ongoing professional development, certifications, and platform updates to stay ahead in the industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in SEM, digital marketing, or a similar role
Required: Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Shopping Ads, Measurement)
Preferred: Microsoft Advertising Certified Professional
Preferred: Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ)

Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and keyword research tools
Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, A/B testing, and trend analysis
Ability to align SEM strategies with broader marketing and business goals
