Job Description

The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring a seamless, high-quality customer experience at our Pauli Ford. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks that facilitate the vehicle sales process, from managing the vehicle lot and preparing cars for display to assisting sales consultants and interacting with customers. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, detail-oriented, and has a passion for the automotive industry and customer service. Key Responsibilities: * Vehicle Lot Management: * Maintain the organization and professional appearance of the new and pre-owned vehicle display lots. * Ensure all vehicles on the lot are clean, fueled, and in presentable condition for customer viewing and test drives. * Arrange and park vehicles in designated areas ensuring proper model display and easy access. * Sales Team Support: * Assist Sales Consultants by retrieving vehicles for customer test drives and walk-arounds. * Prepare vehicles for final delivery to customers, including washing, vacuuming, and ensuring all features are ready for the new owner. * Assist with dealer trades by preparing vehicles for transport or receiving incoming vehicles. * Run errands for the sales department as needed, such as picking up documents or supplies. * Customer Interaction: * Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival at the dealership. * Provide initial information to customers and direct them to the appropriate Sales Consultant. * Ensure a positive and professional dealership experience from the moment a customer arrives on the lot. * Administrative & Miscellaneous Duties: * Place and maintain pricing stickers, window clings, and promotional materials on vehicles. * Assist in photographing vehicles for online inventory listings. * Report any vehicle damage or mechanical issues to the Sales Manager or Service Department immediately. * Follow all dealership safety procedures and policies. Qualifications and Skills: * Required: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record. * Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Professional appearance and positive attitude. * Ability to work outdoors and be physically active for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions (e.g., walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
