What You’ll Work On:

• PatientIQ Network : build the largest peer network for healthcare providers to collaborate, share de-identified data, and investigate rare diseases and novel techniques to push the boundaries of medicine
• Benchmarking : enable administrators at hospital systems to benchmark their physicians outcomes against industry standards
• Patient Engagement : automate patient workflows based upon disease status, procedures, and other clinical events with our rules engine and patient portal
• 3rd Party Integrations : grow our library of 3rd party integrations, including electronic medical records, and other healthcare partners
• Scaling : refactor existing systems and optimize the platform for scaling and increasing data flow

• AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch

• Google suite, Notion, JIRA, Slack, Copilot
• Small, full-stack teams (Product, Design, Engineering, QA)
• 2-week sprints, 6-month strategic planning cycles

Requirements:

Role Responsibilities

• Work with product managers and designers to build and realize new product features
• Active development with proper test coverage
• Perform peer code reviews to ensure the team is producing well tested and maintainable code
• Support and optimize a critical production environment

What we look for:

• 6 years of experience building web applications
• 2+ years of first-hand professional experience with Ruby on Rails
• Ability to write clean, well designed, and scalable code
• Desire to work in a collaborative environment: interactions with the leadership team, product managers, and customer success teams
• Knowledge of databases and backend experience
