Job Description

Great Plains Protection Agency in Oklahoma City, OK is looking for one protection officer to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 8312 W Reno Ave Suite B. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Position Overview: We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Officers to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. Whether patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, or responding to incidents, you will uphold our commitment to excellence and protect what matters most.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect security threats.
  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems to identify potential security breaches.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain order and safety.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.
  • Complete accurate and detailed reports documenting security activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security is a plus.
  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent observation and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CLEET Certified Preferred but not required (We will help in obtaining if needed)
