About this Role
Under the direction of the Equity and Accessibility Management Services Division, Services Manager II, Workforce Analytics and Accountability Branch, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst is independently responsible for monitoring statewide discrimination complaint activity and providing consultative support to departments in the implementation and improvement of Equal Employment Opportunity programs.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

  • Experience supporting Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) or Civil Rights programs, including complaint tracking, compliance monitoring, or policy implementation
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data or case management systems (such as Salesforce)
  • Experience compiling and analyzing data for mandated legislative or compliance reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting, editing, and proofreading reports
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex or technical information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience delivering presentations or briefings to small or large groups
  • Experience coordinating or conducting training
  • Ability to recognize and appropriately escalate sensitive program or compliance issues
  • Strong analytical skills to assess problems, evaluate options, and recommend effective solutions
