Production Assembler

• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
• Pay: $17 per hour
• Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (overtime may be available)
• Location: Tulsa, OK

Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a Production Assembler for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate must have a clean background, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . Candidates should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly processes , preferably in furniture or cabinet manufacturing . A stable work history and prior assembly experience are required .

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions.
• Utilize hand and power tools efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
• Operate machinery on the assembly line while adhering to safety protocols .
• Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency .
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in training new employees on assembly techniques and safety practices.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting required .
• High school diploma or GED required .
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical documents .
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment , including wearing required protective gear .
• Verify quality of parts entering and leaving the designated operation.
• Adherence to standard codes of conduct in all workplace interactions.
• Proficiency in assembly work using hand tools such as screwdrivers and drills to assemble cabinets, case goods, etc.
• Manually package ready-to-assemble products, stacking boxes and/or tables up to five feet high .
• Ensure products are defect-free , correctly packed, and neatly stacked on pallets.
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, stoop, crouch, reach, and extend arms, wrists, and fingers constantly , or stand/walk/lift for 10+ hours per day .
• Experience using manual pallet jacks and assembly equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced assembly line environment with strong problem-solving skills .
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedules.
