Job Description
Our client is looking for (4) Manufacturing Operators to work 2nd Shift onsite in the Vandalia, Ohio location
.Responsibilities:
- Clean production rooms and equipment—including mills, mixers, ovens, and granulators.
- Operate granulation machinery.
- Run all coating systems, dust collectors, air-handling units, and delivery apparatus.
- Verify and record the weight of powder blends received from the Blending Department.
- Compress and/or encapsulate product in accordance with the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).
- Complete BMR documentation accurately and in real time.
- Operate encapsulation equipment (IMA Matic 90, IMA Matic 150, Adapta encapsulators, Precisa 12/120), plus associated weight sorters, scales, and metal detectors.
- Clean all equipment in the Encapsulation and Tablet Compression areas.
- Operate tablet-compression equipment (Kilian S520, Syntheses 500, tablet presses), drum lifters, dedusters, metal detectors, scales, micrometers, hardness testers, printers, and inspection machines.
- Keep the department and work areas clean and orderly; sanitize equipment per SOPs and supervisor instructions.
- Adhere at all times to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and assigned work schedules; carry out additional tasks as needed.
- Complete all required company training successfully and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in Oral Solid Dose manufacturing or a similar role.
- Must be available to work from 6pm-6am EST on days and weekends and the schedule will alternate on a weekly basis.
- Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with small groups, including customers and team members.
- Comfortable using computers for training purposes and for interacting with mechanical or control systems.
