GD Resources LLC is seeking a Musician (Pianist/Keyboard/Guitarist) to provide musical support for the MCAS New River Chapel’s worship services and special religious events. This role will be crucial in enhancing the worship experience for both Protestant and Catholic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform music during Sunday worship services (Catholic Mass at 8:30 AM, Protestant service at 11:00 AM).
• Conduct weekly choir rehearsals (Wednesdays for Catholic service, Sundays for Protestant service).
• Select and coordinate musical arrangements with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) at least three days before rehearsals or services.
• Maintain and organize the Protestant and Catholic music libraries.
• Notify the COR of any instrument or equipment malfunctions.
• Support up to 20 special services throughout the year (funerals, memorials, and religious observances).
• Arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled performances.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience playing for a church congregation.
• Ability to sight-read music and play piano, keyboard, and guitar proficiently.
• Knowledge of liturgical and contemporary Christian music.
• Familiarity with both Catholic and Protestant worship formats .
• Ability to direct choirs and work collaboratively with worship teams.

Additional Information:

• The Government will provide musical instruments and sheet music.
• The selected candidate must adhere to base access requirements and pass background checks as per the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS).
