Overview

Join our client as a Medical Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing individualized care to a diverse range of customers. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective management and treatment, while also performing essential clinical and clerical tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer flow throughout the clinic
• Assist providers in the management and treatment of customers
• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with customer management
• Give immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider
• Perform laboratory specimen collection as needed
• Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between customers and providers
• Assist with prescription refills and perform x-ray duties if qualified
• Support front desk/check-in and assist with ordering and stocking supplies
• Maintain skill proficiency and accept other duties as assigned

Schedule and Shift Details

• Full Time
• Travel using personal vehicle to various local worksites is required.

Qualifications

Required

• Required

• High School/GED
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
• Valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Minnesota (MN)
