The State of Virginia – Swift Strategic Solutions Inc. is seeking a Master Data Analyst for a contract position . The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to analyze and document business processes, data flows, and entity resolution , ensuring efficient data management and governance .

Responsibilities:

• Business Process & Data Flow Analysis – Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data lifecycles and business processes .
  
• Data Profiling & Attribute Mapping – Analyze source data , compare content and structure to dataset requirements, and resolve data conflicts .
  
• Metadata Management – Elicit, document, and maintain metadata, process flows, and data flow diagrams .
  
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation – Write clear and concise business requirements (BRD), user stories, and acceptance criteria .
  
• Agile Collaboration – Work with teams using Scrum methodology , decompose requirements into Epics and Features , and maintain the product backlog .
  
• Testing & Stakeholder Coordination – Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors .
  
• Conceptual Prototyping – Develop mock-ups and prototypes to validate data requirements and business process improvements .

Education & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in business data analysis and enterprise data management .
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  
• Strong expertise in SQL queries, data governance, metadata management, and Agile methodologies .
