As a Manager of Business Analytics, you will motivate and lead a team of 2-7 analysts to draw business insights from data through complex analysis, mining, and visualization.

Compensation for this role is a fixed salary plus a bonus based on KPI performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and lead team members using DSI talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage employees
• Adhere to DSI company values and competencies to foster a culture of performance, recognition, and support of a safe work environment
• Coach and develop a team of 2-7 business analysts
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret data within assigned business channel
• Collaborate with team members to track initiatives and provide sales campaign-based results
• Present and deliver valuable insights to business leaders
• Identify changes in business and prove/disprove underlying reasons for change using analysis
• Troubleshoot, filter, and clean data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
• Identify and define new process improvement opportunities
• Build dashboards to aid our internal team in managing partner accounts and to be shared externally with partners

Requirements

Project Management

• Agile: Oversees Scrum Master and is responsible for all project timelines

Leadership

• Direct Reports: 2-7 analysts
• Project Based: Responsible for all project timelines and deliverables. May lead 2+ projects at any given time

Analytics/Visualization

• Excel : advanced skills. Familiar with common and advanced formulas
• SQL : intermediate skills. Familiar with top used statements and data joins
• Visualization: advanced skills. Ability to create charts & tables with robust functionalities
• Insights: advanced skills. Ability to draw conclusions from historical data and relay findings. Derives insights that align with business operations and processes that may be used in guiding strategic company decisions

Data Architecture

• Database Design: basic knowledge
• ETL Frameworks: intermediate skills. Working knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load phases plus ability to build ETL jobs

Communications

• PowerPoint : Advanced skills. Savvy and effective at building slides
• Stakeholders: Communicate directly with business partners. Reaches out to leadership and management to reduce barriers which inhibit hitting deadlines, whilst assisting with cross-functional communication and meetings

Education

• Advanced/Graduate degree preferred

Work Experience

• 5+ yrs professional experience
• 3+ yrs demonstrated experience leading team(s)
