**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Type: Permanent, Direct Placement** **Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas** **Job Description:** We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic/Controls Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced, food production facility. We are looking for candidates with experience working on conveyors and a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance. **Responsibilities:** + Perform and train others on basic electrical and mechanical skills. + Conduct mechanical repairs and overhauls. + Implement and maintain maintenance systems. + Utilize computer skills for maintenance tasks. + Stay updated with new technologies in preventive/predictive maintenance. + Solve problems and troubleshoot issues as they arise. **Essential Skills:** + Minimum of two years of industrial electronics training and two years of industrial controls experience, or four years of industrial controls experience. + Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, programming, and troubleshooting tasks. + Experience working with conveyors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** + Ability to train oneself and others where skills are not at the required level. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Pay and Benefits:** + Quarterly Bonuses: Enjoy quarterly production bonuses of up to 4% of your quarterly salary. + Comprehensive Benefits: We offer BCBS coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance. **Why Work Here?** + Growth Opportunities: Potential for skill development and career advancement. + Supportive Environment: Work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on continuous improvement. + Competitive Compensation: Attractive pay and benefits package. **Work Environment:** + Onsite Work: This is a fully onsite position in Fort Smith, AR. + Safety Focus: Strong emphasis on safety in all operations. + Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with all shifts working alternating Sundays. The shifts are as follows: + Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday, Friday, Saturday - Nights 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
