**Description** SAIC is looking for a **Logistics Engineer** to perform system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major PMW-160 systems, specifically Automated Digital Network System (ADNS). T **his position is mostly remote and must be local to San Diego, CA.** **JOB DUTIES:** + Ensures program data is distributed to other Logistics team members as needed for Logistics product development, including CDMD-OA, ILS Checklists, Provisioning, ILS Packages, Technical Documentation, PMS, DMSMS, and PSD. + Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. + May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. + Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. + Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. + Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans. + Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management and supervision. **Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS:** + Bachelors Degree and six (6) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. + Must be a U.S. Citizen. + Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start. + Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance after start. + Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of all areas of Logistics and Logistics product deliverables, including Provisioning, ILS Certifications, PMS, Technical Documentation, ILS Packages, CDMD-OA, PSD, DMSMS, and ECR process. + Candidates must have technical, engineering, or logistics background involving hardware or software systems. + Thorough knowledge of all ILS areas and products is required. **DESIRED SKILLS:** + Experience with hardware drawing analysis, BOM analysis, and inputs to ECRs desired. + Understanding of hardware and software obsolescence desired. Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
