Approved Inheritance Cash, Inc. (AIC) is a specialty finance company located in Pasadena, CA helping heirs, trustees, and administrators gain access to inheritance funds locked in probate. AIC focuses on inheritance cash advances and collections.
Role Description
Looking for a well organized and self motivated assistant to provide support for a small but agile team -- legal / clerk or probate background strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: legal document preparation and review, record management, managing court filings, and various administrative tasks.
Candidates must be detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and be willing and able working directly with estate attorneys and clients.
The role is located in Pasadena, CA.
Qualifications
Legal Document Preparation skills
Excellent Communication skills
Research and Document Review
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience in probate or estate planning is a plus
Advanced study or degree in Legal field is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with Zoho or similar CRM is a plus.
Compensation
Compensation will be approximately $30-$40/hour, or equivalent retainer, to be determined based on background and qualifications.
Role will initially be structured as an independent contractor, and does not include employee benefits.
