Job Description

Nuclera’s mission is to accelerate discovery by enabling rapid, easy access to functional proteins essential for research. The Company’s eProtein Discovery™ benchtop system accelerates protein expression and purification optimization in research labs.

Applying digital microfluidics alongside in situ protein detection assays and cell-free protein synthesis, eProtein Discovery enables rapid, scalable access to high-quality proteins, supporting both cell-free and cell-based expression methods. The system significantly reduces time and cost of these processes by automating construct screening, protein scale-up, and producing purified proteins for downstream functional testing in under 48 hours. The system accelerates workflows, achieving results in days rather than the months required by traditional cell-based methods.

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to support our Supply Chain function within the Operations team. This position will involve working closely with the Manufacturing team on-site, while also collaborating with colleagues in the UK based Supply Chain group.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career candidate eager to grow their skills in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, and excited to learn in a fast-paced and high impact environment.

About the role:

  • Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions / distribution orders for replenishment when inventory is low.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse to maintain efficient material flow.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Work within our ERP system to manage inventory, generate orders, and track shipments.
  • Act as a second pair of eyes for the pick and pack process to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Working with suppliers to order necessary materials and inventory, considering factors like lead times, storage costs, and sales rates.
  • Find new suppliers for existing or new components.
  • Coordinate and schedule domestic shipments across the US, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing inventory data and physical stock.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory management systems or ERP platforms (e.g. IFS, NetSuite, SAP, etc).
  • Competency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Desirable:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid office / warehouse role, including time spent on the shop floor.
  • Experience supporting pick/pack and order fulfillment in a quality-sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP platforms; ideally IFS.

Benefits

What we offer:

In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a range of benefits including:

  • Company bonus scheme of 5%
  • Incentive stock options
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance
  • Short- and long-term disability insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • 25-day annual holiday allowance
  • Investment in professional development and learning
  • Fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and snacks in the office
  • Organised summer and other events for staff
