The Florence Coffee Co. HR officer will need to represent the company’s policies, procedures and goals, and many of the tasks revolving around instilling these values in employees, whilst making sure the policies are also fair to the employees. The main responsibilities include:
-Onboarding of new employees
-Developing programs that enhance employee relations
-Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
-Organizing employee training and development opportunities
-Updating the employee handbook
-Ensuring employees have correct pay and benefits
-Promoting equality, health and safety within the company
-Ensuring that company employment policies follow national laws and regulations
-Recording and processing confidential information
-Employee related corrective actions and investigations
-Conducting exit interviews
-Helping to resolve workplace conflict and liaising between parties
-Assisting district managers with performance issues and reviews
Job qualifications should include the following
-Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
-Comprehensive understanding of employment law
-Sensitivity and understanding
-The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
-Thorough attention to detail
-Administrative skills
-The ability to work well with others
-Business management or HR courses are a plus but not required
-This job is based out of our Missoula office and the candidate must be able to work in the office 3 days a week.
