Pay: $26.00 – $29.50 / Hourly (contract-to-hire)

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a leading global organization in the security products and services industry to hire two HR Specialists to their growing team. This role supports a growing HR Shared Services department as the company continues to expand and implement new systems. This role is HYBRID with three days in office schedule.

Job Description:

The HR Specialist will provide administrative and operational support across multiple HR functions, focusing on onboarding, background checks, HR ticketing, and employee data management. This position serves as a primary contact for HR-related questions and ensures a smooth and efficient experience for all employees and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries via phone and email.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including I-9 verification and HRIS setup.
• Manage and track background checks, drug screenings, and badging processes.
• Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS (UKG) and generate regular reports.
• Process and track HR tickets, escalating issues as necessary.
• Assist with payroll, benefits coordination, and compliance documentation.
• Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of HR experience; internship experience accepted.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (UKG preferred).
• Strong Excel skills for data entry and reporting.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s Degree

• Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Reports To: HR Shared Services Manager
