New Horizons Community Mental Health Center, Inc., is seeking a passionate and driven Fundraiser to join our team to develop and implement fundraising strategies, manage campaigns, and build relationships with donors, contributing to our mission to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to residents of Miami – Dade County regardless of race, creed, sex, gender orientation, disability or socioeconomic status.

As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in securing financial resources to support our mission. You will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising strategies, managing campaigns, building relationships with potential donors, and coordinating fundraising events.

Responsibilities:

· Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising plans and strategies to achieve annual fundraising goals.

· Campaign Management:

Plan, organize, and execute fundraising campaigns, including events, appeals, and grant applications.

· Donor Relations:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, including individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.

· Research and Prospecting:

Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and develop compelling proposals.

· Reporting and Evaluation:

Track and report on fundraising performance, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

· Event Coordination:

Plan, organize, and execute fundraising events, ensuring smooth logistics and a positive donor experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., fundraising, development, communications).
• At least 3 – 5 years of experience in fundraising or development.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor cultivation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for mental health and wellbeing.
