Vin Sauvage - Fine Wine Sales Consultant

Territory includes established independent on-premise, bottle shops and casino customers within the Las Vegas metropolitan area and along Las Vegas Boulevard.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Sales and Business Development:
Promote and sell fine wine from around the globe, achieving sales targets and contributing to overall revenue growth.
Develop and implement sales strategies within assigned territory, ability to be entrepreneurial by identifying new account opening opportunities and execute strategy once approved by management.
Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to generate new business and maintain existing relationships.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in the wine market.
Monitor inventory levels, depletion rates and collaborate with leadership for inventory issues.

Product Knowledge and Expertise:
Possess a strong knowledge of wines from around the world, including different regions, varietals, vintages and production techniques.
Keep abreast of new wine releases and industry trends.
Conduct staff trainings, in-store wine demonstrations and occasional trade events to educate customers, staff and consumers about products and drive sales.
Quickly establish deep brand knowledge and storytelling about our partner brands.
Strong knowledge and skill required for MS Office suite of software, especially capability to manage data within a spreadsheet to quickly build proposals.
High degree of accuracy for order entry, proposal building and new item submission for client forms required.
Experience within order entry systems and adaptability to quickly learn new software and seamlessly adopt changes and updates.
Deep understanding of managing complex client relationships, experience with CRM very helpful.

Customer Interaction and Education:
Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding wine selection, consult creatively to drive sales at account level.
Conduct wine tastings and seminars to educate clients about wine regions, varietals, and production methods.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
High integrity and high customer service skills are a must.
Answer customer questions and address concerns related to wine knowledge and product availability.
Possess strong business acumen related to the wine business in regards to inventory management, budgeting and pricing models for on and off premise customers.

Other Tasks:
Attend trade shows and wine tastings to network and stay informed about the industry.
Assist with organizing wine deliveries and events.
May be required to assist with other tasks as needed, such as merchandising or inventory management.

Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of wines and the wine industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients.
Passion for wine and a desire to educate and engage customers.
Sales experience and ability to meet sales targets.
Organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professionalism and have fun attitude to fit well with our company culture.
Requires Nevada driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry wine cases of approximately 40 lbs.
