• Specialists available- includinggeneral surgery, cataract surgery,vein procedures(ablation and sclerotherapy),cardiology, ENT, nephrology, OB Shared Care, ophthalmology, orthopedics,neurology,pain management, plastics, podiatry, skin cancer screening,pain,dermatology,and weight management.

• Lab, x-ray,ultrasound including Echo,pain management, OP geriatric psych,behavioral health therapy,sleep, MRI, CT, mammography,surgery,nuclear med, PT, RT,OT,STandER all on site

• 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic that cares for12,000residents ofHancockCountyand the surrounding area

• Level IV Area Trauma Care Facility

• Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center

MercyOne Medical Group- North Iowa

• Regional health system covering15counties, includes MercyOneNorth IowaMedical Center,eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota

• Service area approximately 260,000

• Telemedicine and teleradiology available

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa?physician license;?Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
