What you’ll be doing...

Define strategy and roadmap for Private Network & Edge; align leadership through continuous development/evaluation of "blueprints" to understand customer requirements and technology stack to address Device, ISV, Connectivity, SIS. Define partners, technology, and commercial model needed for successful ecosystem orchestration, facilitation or participation for each blueprint. Align Finance, Sales and PN/Edge Commercialization to link mid/long-term outcomes. Collaborate with marketing on lead generation consistent with priorities. Collaborate with device development leads to ensure PN/Edge requirements are addressed/roadmaps aligned. Ensure PN/Edge Portfolio Commercialization and Product Marketing activities and support are aligned with strategy and high priority opportunities and programs. Identify operational and commercial gaps; collaborate across 5G Acceleration and Verizon to address. Design and discuss best-in-class partner program to enable scale to include defining of PN/Edge motions with partners; develop Partner Strategy and Governance to include selection criteria, identification, segmentation and program framework; VZ/VBG/VCG alignment with any cross-over partners and markets; PN/Edge Partner Program design including Tiering, Required Certifications and Co-innovation; responsible for Partner Experience; Partner Learning & Development Support; Partner Events & Communication; provide Partner onboarding with support from appropriate operational team. Lead concept, scope definition, and execution of strategic and operational business transformation initiatives, ranging from Corporate and Operational Strategy to Process Improvement. Develop tools and processes to drive process enhancement. Responsible for managing telecommunication technology projects and business operations. Provide proactive and engaged leadership to drive key projects designed to increase revenue, reduce expenses, enhance business efficiency, and improve customer experience. Assess, manage and guide multiple projects and process to deliver commercialization of 5G technology. Provide leadership and functional unit management with updates on project status, key metrics, issues, and risks. Develop relevant reports and structure for updates. Analyze financial requirements and business case. Proactively anticipate and work towards mitigating risks to project execution or stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with stakeholders and work directly with 5G commercialization and business unit leaders to analyze initiatives using PowerPoint, and G-suite. Conduct business analytics and insights using Excel to prove or disprove the hypotheses driving project execution. Be a liaison between business units on projects that have a multi-organization or business unit scope. Act as an effective change agent utilizing proper stakeholder analysis and change management techniques. Facilitate team meetings and cross-functional workshops.

What we’re looking for...

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Strategy Manager, Business Transformation Manager, Project Manager, Business Enhancement Manager, Operations Manager, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years performing each of the following skills:


• defining strategy and roadmap; aligning leadership;
• designing programs to enable scale;
• leading concept, scope definition, and execution of strategic and operational business transformation initiatives;
• collaborating with stakeholders and business unit leaders to analyze initiatives using PowerPoint;
• conducting business analytics and insights using Excel to prove or disprove the hypotheses driving project execution;
• assessing, managing, and guiding multiple projects and processes; and
• managing technology projects and business operations.
