Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly & Finishing Technician to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with various materials, including wood, metal, and composites, to ensure high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Sanding, cutting, and shaping materials to prepare them for assembly and finishing
  
• Operating saws, sanders, and other power tools safely and efficiently
  
• Assembling components using fasteners, adhesives, and mechanical techniques
  
• Painting, staining, and sealing materials to meet quality standards
  
• Working with basic electrical wiring for product assembly as needed
  
• Inspecting parts for defects and ensuring proper fit and finish
  
• Handling and lifting materials, including heavy and bulky items
  
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and the work area
  
• Following safety guidelines and proper handling of finishing materials
  
• Assisting with packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
  

Requirements

• Experience with hand tools and power tools (saws, sanders, drills, etc.)
  
• Basic knowledge of painting, staining, and finishing techniques
  
• Familiarity with basic electrical wiring and connections
  
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  
• Strong work ethic and reliability
  
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus
