Position Overview

We’re looking for an Art Director to lead our creative efforts across a diverse range of projects. This role requires someone who can guide teams through the creative process while actively contributing to the work. From concept development to final delivery, you’ll ensure every project aligns with our studio’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the creative development of projects from concept to execution.
2. Develop strong visual concepts independently and collaboratively with the team.
3. Provide clear, constructive feedback to clients and team members to ensure the creative vision is realized.
4. Stay hands-on with your craft, working within project pipelines as needed.
5. Inspire and mentor artists to push their creative boundaries and elevate their work.
6. Maintain a solutions-oriented mindset and handle feedback constructively.
7. Pitch innovative, value-driven ideas to clients, collaborating with them to refine concepts that align with their goals and elevate their brand.
8. Juggle multiple projects and deadlines with confidence and precision.

Qualifications

1. Required:
2. 5+ years of experience leading creative projects, preferably in motion design and animation.
3. Expertise in Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
4. Strong communication skills with the confidence to pitch ideas to clients and lead team discussions.
5. A passion for design, typography, and storytelling.
6. Proven ability to direct and manage artists across multiple projects simultaneously.
7. A track record of thriving in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Bonus:

1. Working knowledge or interest in Maya, Houdini, Blender, and Unreal Engine.
2. Experience working directly with brands and understanding their creative needs.
3. A history of contributing to award-winning work.
4. A great sense of humor and a collaborative spirit to keep the creative energy alive.

Additional Details

1. Location: Los Angeles (On-Site).
